With the exception of cuts , two takes of the Oscar Peterson Trio captured live playing “On Green Dolphin Street,” these are cuts from two of my favorite vinyl recordings of the late fifties (cut 9) and very early sixties (cuts ). On the Very Tall cuts, Peterson and Jackson play together with the rock firm rhythm section of bassist Brown and drummer Thigpen, and they all play in the same direction/5(54).
